Explore Some More – May 2014

Once again it’s Monday, but I can’t complain because I’ve been off for 4 days! I had a couple of new experiences this weekend, including my first brewery tour and watching a live tennis match. I hope your weekend was relaxing and you got to enjoy the warmer weather!

Without further ado, here is the second edition of Explore Some More, links to my favourite reads from the last two weeks:

It’s the positive attitude, not the destinations themselves, that leads to memorable, positive travel experiences. Therefore, it must follow that it’s the positive attitude, not the lifestyle, that leads to a memorable, positive life.

I will always strongly encourage others to travel if they get the opportunity. However,  that doesn’t mean I think those that don’t travel are living an inferior life compared to those that do. Wandering Earl explains why attitude is more important that travel when it comes to loving your life in It’s Not the End of the World if You Don’t Travel.

Winter has left, and summer is finally on it’s way! I can’t wait to explore these rooftop terraces during the coming hot, humid nights in Madrid.

It’s been seven years since I went to Paris! Reading PARIS in 10 Steps has got me tempted to buy a ticket to the French capital.

Travel truism that aren’t quite true.

I wish I could get my hands on some magazines to try this fun decorating trick to use in my scrapbooks.

I hope this list of salad recipes will inspire me to include more veggies into my diet.

Spanish fashion brand Desigual’s latest ad had me at a loss for words.

That’s all for this round, have a great week!

I’m always on the lookout for new reading material so if you’ve seen something you think I’d enjoy, feel free to link to it in the comments or tweet it to @estrellaexplore
